The British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust (BSLBT) was established in 2008 to increase the amount of sign-presented programming on television.

Sign and Bond is a young and vibrant company specialising in communication between babies, children and adults in any surroundings. Sign and Bond emerged from the results of extensive research over recent years that has proved the many benefits of using sign language to promote more expressive communication, including by babies and children, and can result in the development of heightened verbal IQ amongst children.
PLOD - Police Link Officers for Deaf people - Hampshire
Police Link Officers for Deaf people aim to promote equality of access to the police for people who are deaf, deafblind, deafened and hard of hearing in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. We recognise that access means much more than how you get into a building or up the stairs! Access includes access to information and access to service. Whether you use Sign Language, Deafblind Manual or Lipread, the Link Officers are available to assist.

SignTranslate translates medical questions into sign language so that the doctor can communicate with Deaf patients without the need for another person to be at the consultation. It also offers an on-line interpreting service via a web-cam where a Deaf person can have a conversation with their doctor through a remote interpreter.

Deaf Connexions was set us as a registered charity in 1997. We are based in Norwich and provide services across all of Norfolk. There is a board of Trustees made up from representatives of the deaf community, business community and public services from across the County.
