3D Derby Deaf Drama
The 3D Theatre Company was set up in 2002, funded by the Community Learning Fund project to give deaf adults an opportunity to develop themselves through education. Starting a theatre company gave deaf adults the chance to learn new skills such as communication, teamwork, administration and financial management along with craft skills such as directing, lighting, acting and many others. Since 2004, 3D has become an independent theatre company with volunteers and run by Deaf people.
