World Federation of the Deaf (WFD)
The WFD is an international non-governmental organisation representing approximately 70 million Deaf people worldwide. It is estimated that more than 80 percent of these 70 million live in developing countries, where authorities are rarely familiar with their needs or desires. Recognised by the United Nations (UN) as their spokes-organisation, WFD works closely with the UN and its various agencies in promoting the human rights of Deaf people in accordance with the principles and objectives of the UN Charter, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other general acts and recommendations of the UN and its specialised agencies.
Circular Sound
This is an English website based in Romsey, in the County of Hampshire, England. Due to problems encountered during the time of the author's worsening hearing and now with no hearing at all, she felt it time to set up a website which might be of interest or help to others who find themselves in the same situation.
National Deaf Children's Society (NDCS)
The National Deaf Children's Society is the only UK charity solely dedicated to the support of all deaf children and young deaf people, their families and professionals working with them.
Deaf Connexions
Deaf Connexions was set us as a registered charity in 1997. We are based in Norwich and provide services across all of Norfolk. There is a board of Trustees made up from representatives of the deaf community, business community and public services from across the County.
Centre For Deaf People Bristol
Centre for Deaf People Bristol work with deaf and hard of hearing people across Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire and Bath and East Somerset. We are based in our large centre in Bristol, and from here we provide a range of specialist services and are home to several community groups. We want to keep this website up to date and as interesting as possible. If you have news of events or anything interesting relating to deafness, then please do let us know.
Telecommunications Action Group (TAG)
TAG was established in 1986 as a consortium of national organisations for and of deaf people to speak with one voice in discussions with the telecoms industry. TAG has assisted in campaigns for telecoms rebates for deaf people, and for Typetalk, the national relay service which enables deaf and hearing people to talk to each other.
Deaf-UK Discussion Group
Can discuss about deaf issues (any), can debate on your passion of your views of deaf community, campaign issues. Also can post events, jobs, any issues to deaf.
Benefits and Works (BW)
BW website was launched, in his spare time, in 2002 by Welfare Rights Worker Steve Donnison. It has rapidly grown into one of the UK\'s major providers of information about incapacity and disability benefits and is now Steve\'s full-time occupation.
Elizabeth Foundation
The Elizabeth Foundation is a national charity supporting infants and pre-school aged children with hearing loss and their families, by providing help, support and encouragement. It is the Elizabeth Foundation’s belief that it is the right of every deaf child to be given the opportunity to learn to listen and talk.
Hampshire Deaf Association
Founded by Sir Arthur Fairbairn in 1879 as a “mission for deaf people”, the Hampshire Deaf Association has grown to be the principal source of deaf information, services and advocacy for Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands.
Sussex Deaf Association
Sussex Deaf Association was known as the Chichester Church Mission to the Deaf and Dumb to provide spiritual and social welfare for deaf people in Sussex and was founded 1912. In 1934 the Mission became The Sussex Diocesan Association for the Deaf and Dumb and an ordained priest with experience of working with Deaf people was appointed. Later on the word "Dumb" was removed from the title. When the laws changed the Association became registered as a charity in 1969. The headquarters and offices are based in Carlton Hill, Brighton. We also have a community services office in Hastings and an office in Worthing.

UK Council on Deafness is the national infrastructure organisation for voluntary sector organisations working with deaf people.

There are estimated 93,000 people in Cornwall with some degree of hearing loss from moderate to profoundly Deaf. There are also 300 British Sign language users in the County.

Bromley Chain is a charity set up by parents of deaf children in Bromley and is run by both deaf and hearing members working together to support Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing people living in Bromley.
